Elastic Shoulder Immobilizer is a lightweight, sleek, and smart design to provide immobilization in shoulder dislocation and post-operative rehabilitation of the shoulder. It reduces abduction and arm rotation by positioning the arm close to the body.

  • The Shoulder Immobilizer is made of materials that are very pleasant to contact with the skin. All its seams and edges have been carefully designed, making them practically imperceptible when worn. Another advantage of the shoulder Immobiliser is that it allows free air access to the skin. 
  • The shoulder part additionally warms up the damaged area, which improves blood circulation in the tissues and accelerates their regeneration. In order to best fit the arm, it has been appropriately contoured with an underwire sewn into its center.

Construction

  • The chest band is made from superior elastic webbing.
  • The humeral cuff and forearm cuff are made from rigid elasticized bands. 
  • Hook and loop closures ensure a secure fit. Fits either right or left arm.

How to Use

  • It consists of a wrist strap and an upper arm strap attached to the chest band.
  • Chest band fits around the upper torso for men or under breast line for women.
  • Position the upper arm strap so that it is adjacent to the affected arm.
  • The  wrist strap should be at the center of the wrist to prevent awkward wrist positions.
  • Attach both straps to a comfortable compression with hook and loop closure

  • Use the shoulder Immobilizer under the guidance of a qualified doctor.
  • Discontinue use and seek the guidance of a qualified doctor, in case of
     1) Impaired sensation 
    2) Impaired blood flow 
    3) Allergy rash or itching 
    4) Pain Increases or persists
  • Misuse or improper use of the shoulder Immobilizer can lead to adverse effects and decreased effectiveness.
  • Follow the instructions mentioned on the box carefully.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • adjust padding and strapping for a secure and comfortable fitting.
