Features
- Removable, anatomically shaped, double splinting ensures rigid immobilization. It can be customized to provide the required degree of wrist dorsiflexion.
- Pull strap mechanism allows tightening and loosening of the brace with a single pull stroke. Easy to wear and remove. Reverse buckle mechanism ensures controlled tightening and better immobilization.
- Ergonomic and sleek design. Bilateral symmetry allows it to be used for either hand. Elegant tabs enhance aesthetics. Lightweight enhances compliance.
- The long length of the brace ensures enhanced immobilization. Brace abuts the palmer crease, allows free finger movement.
- Made of PU lined matte fabric which enhances the durability and aesthetics of the product. It provides a snug-fitting, high cushioning, and comfort.
- Built-in opening for thumb abduction provides better pain relief and healing. Thumb remains relaxed without any fatigue.
Construction
- Wrist and Forearm splint is made from a strong three-layered bonded fabric with the middle layer made of open-celled foam to ensure good cushioning. The rigid support is provided by aluminum splints contained in a Nylon pocket.
- The splint can be customized to fit the individual patient precisely, which ensures better immobilization and improved comfort. Hook loop closure provides, snug-fitting of the product, its easy application, and removal.
- Wrist and Forearm splint is designed to effectively maintain wrist in dorsiflexion or neutral position while allowing full range of motion to fingers and thumb. It allows slight thumb abduction for its comfort. It compresses and retains the body heat to allay the local pain and inflammation.
- Wrist and Forearm splint can be removed to permit, therapy sessions, washing, and hygiene.
